Description
The cozy and completely renovated country house is located near Scansano in the middle of the hills of the wine-growing area of ‘Morellino di Scansano’ and offers a wonderful view over the Maremma until the sea. It is part of a farm (sheeps, chickens, donkeys, horses ...) which also has a large organic vegetable and fruit garden from which the owner offers fresh fruit and vegetables to its guests almost daily.
A sandy access road leads almost to the front door and the private parking in front of the house. Guests have access to a large private garden in front of the entrance, ideal for sunbathing, playing, resting, eating outside ... The property is completely fenced and therefore well suited for a holiday with pets. In addition also children can let play and have fun without danger. Something very special is the private Jacuzzi next to the house from which you have a magnificent view over the valley up to the sea. At sunset with a glass of wine… there is nothing better.
Through the fully equipped kitchen with fireplace and dining area you enter into the house. Behind the kitchen are situated a living room with sofa (sofa bed), TV and oven, as well as the two bedrooms, both with double bed. Opposite the bedrooms you find two bathrooms with shower, one of which is equipped for disabled guests.
This nice cottage in the countryside is ideal for those who want a quiet and cozy accommodation in Tuscany / Maremma to rest and recover.
Moreover, the location is also the ideal starting point to visit the cultural cities and attractions of Tuscany or to explore the numerous beaches of the coast. A curiosity: the house is located on the ancient route 'Via Clodia' which at the time of the Romans connected Grosseto with Rome.

A beautiful location with views that were just stunning. The house was exactly as photos suggested but the views were better than we could have hoped for. Barbara was welcoming and brought home made cake and fresh tomatoes and basil from her garden. see more

Barbara was welcoming and brought home made cake and fresh tomatoes and basil from her garden. We ate at a fish restaurant that was very local and the food was superb and prices were so reasonable. I'd recommend anyone to go if you want to relax, unwind and enjoy quality time with family in a beautiful place.

Stunning views from this country farm. We spent 5 days relaxing and traveling around the area. The sea is close by as well as many really great towns. The pizza restaurant at the other end of the dirt road is wonderful. It is a must.

La casa di Barbara è un luogo stupendo, immerso nel verde e nella pace. Cicale di giorno, stellate meravigliose e grilli di notte (e qualche latrato dei cani e la compagnia delle oche che non disturbano). Con la nostra auto bassa è stato un po' diffisee more
La casa di Barbara è un luogo stupendo, immerso nel verde e nella pace. Cicale di giorno, stellate meravigliose e grilli di notte (e qualche latrato dei cani e la compagnia delle oche che non disturbano). Con la nostra auto bassa è stato un po' difficoltoso raggiungerla, ma con un po' di prudenza e pratica ce la siamo cavata benone e il posto merita lo sforzo. Una volta arrivati è così bello che non si andrebbe più via, ma anche i dintorni meritano la visita, dai numerosi borghi, al mare. Siamo stati una settimana in quattro persone (due coppie), Barbara ci ha accolti in modo squisito, con tanto di torta appena sfornata e sugo ancora caldo e ci ha coccolati con le verdure fresche dell'orto e i deliziosi fichi. È un'ospite premurosa ma molto discreta. La casa è grande e arredata con gusto, uno dei due letti matrimoniali è un po' strettino, ma ci si sta e si dorme bene. In compenso i locali sono molto spaziosi, compresi i due servizi (non è scontato trovare un doppio servizio). All'esterno tanto spazio per rilassarsi, mangiare sotto il pergolato e, ciliegina sulla torta, godersi l'idromassaggio con vista sulla campagna e sul mare... Simpatiche anche le visite degli amici a quattro zampe, cani e cuccioli, gatti e gattini (tutti dolci ed innocui). Consigliatissimo a chi ama stare fuori dal caos e godersi la natura.

Dieses gemütliche Haus im schönen Maremma hat alles in der Ausstattung, was man sich wünschen kann. Tagsüber und auch am Abend kann man wunderbar draußen im Garten sitzen und den Jacuzzi mit bester Aussicht genießen (eine super Idee für heiße Sommertage). Die Gastgeberin überrascht einen zwischendurch immer wieder mit Geschenken aus ihrem Obst- und Gemüsegarten (selbstangebaute Tomaten etc.!!), mit einer Pizza, einem selbst hergestellten Rotwein oder ähnlichem. Man kann die Vorzüge einer authentischen Agrikultur, die Tag für Tag gelebt wird, einfach so mitnehmen. Interessant auch für Kinder, weil sie den Garten, die Schaukel lieben, die Gänse gleich nebenan, eine vorbeistreunende Katze oder die Hunde der Familie lieben. Das alles ganz nah und doch auch getrennt genug, um alleine entspannen zu können. Klare Empfehlung!

Perfekte Aussicht, super nette Gastgeber, großes Haus mit tollem Garten. Es war alles da, was man braucht, um gut kochen zu können und wir wurden zwischendurch sogar mit einem super leckerem Kuchen versorgt. Danke nochmal dafür!
